Poppy Seed Dressing

3/4 c. sugar
1 scant t. salt
1 t. dry mustard
1/3 c. vinegar
1 or 2 T. onion juice (if dressing is to be used on fruit, use 1 T. onion juice; 2T. for vegetables)
1 c. Wesson oil**

***Mix ingredients; add oil gradually and beat well
Add 2 t. poppy seeds
Makes 1 pint. Keeps well in refrigerator

(Grate or grind onions; squeeze through cloth sieve.) Do not use onion juice from store.

**I use canola oil
***Mix all except oil in blender; add oil in slow, steady stream. Blend well
